Stettler Hospital ER

Stettler Hospital and Care Centre in Alberta needed to update and upgrade its Emergency Room. The renovations ran the gamut from a larger area for better patient flow, a more secure and safe department for patients and staff, as well as an overall update to their equipment, patient lifts, and space. Their goal was to provide a “patient first” thought process into the entire renovation, which also included other parts of the hospital.

When they looked at the lighting in the ER, they wanted to provide an improved solution that was easy to clean and out of the way – both to make it easier for staff to move around and for infection control and cleaning purposes. They chose Kirlin’s INFRALED fixture to be mounted directly over the patient beds so that they could aim the light from head to foot. The high CRI and easy controls were a great addition to ensure that those visiting Stettler’s ER would have the best experience possible.
