Kirlin Luminaires Used In Project: PRO-12035
Specifier: Univ. Mich. Health System Clinicians
Mott’s Children’s Hospital, one of the top 10 Children’s Hospitals in the U.S.A. (2017-2018, with top scores in all ten categories), upgraded 46 private NICU patient rooms to the latest technology motorized exam lighting, choosing pairs of KIRLIN INFRALED®. Practitioners sought high levels of illumination which are shadow-free and high color rendering for accurate visual diagnoses. The adjustability of illumination angles permits convenient viewing into incubators/bassinets and around other obstacles.
The dual controls, wall and remote, are convenient and easy to use. Infinite dimming permits energy-efficient use of the lighting and ensures visual comfort for practitioners and patients alike. Fully recessed lighting reduces the risk of infection from pull-down units. All surfaces in the lighting system may be cleansed with isopropyl alcohol.
Staff and families of the patients are very complimentary of this new lighting system, which is made in the U.S.A. just a few miles from Ann Arbor, MI, home of the University of Michigan (Wolverines).
