KIRLIN’s expertise in lighting for wet Locations, challenging mountings, and energy efficiency fulfilled the lighting objectives for this Bay Area Rapid Transit station.
Three distinct installation requirements were met by KIRLIN: wall brackets, recessed adjustables and concrete pour downlights. The iconic cylindrical architectural beacon is illuminated by truss-mounted seamless wall bracketed cylinders high above foot traffic. Platforms with 16’ mounting heights are illuminated by recessed adjustable, wet location luminaires, which provide ideal illumination in all weather conditions. In addition, KIRLIN shallow depth regressed lensed luminaires are recessed directly into concrete.
